Sports car shop as a 17yr. old Gofer, where race cars were housed. (550 RS Spyder).
Joined the Army and managed to hitch hike to Sebring 12hr in 1959.
Saw Nurburgring 1000km in 1961.
After college went to Kar-Kraft and FoMoCo in Detroit.
Still have great memories of that time.

A week earlier Sharp took it to a feature victory at Independence, Kansas, but at Midland the hybrid was outgunned by Alan Connell’s new 4.1-liter Ferrari 335S.
