I enjoyed doing that one because I knew all three people–Charlie Agaipou on the left, Phil Remington on the right and Bob Bondurant at the wheel. I hope to do more such pit stop paintings but it’s rare for me to find a ref. photo that has the excitement to inspire me to open the paintbox.
