I could feel myself turning green while looking at these shots, but I’m glad the owners are out on the road and enjoying them. I live in Sydney and I don’t think I’ve ever seen one actually being driven on the road, so I must find out where they are most likely to be exercised, such as this rally.

I’d love to drive a ‘Bug’ one of these days. Alas, the value of the most desirable models makes ownership unlikely nowadays.

Ian, unfortunately you may be right in that seeing a Bugatti on the road in Sydney will be a very rare occurrence, although when returning from the weekend at Nelsons Bay I was surprised to find that T37 heading south on the M7 between Blacktown and Liverpool. The majority of the membership seems to be from the Melbourne area and subsequently most of their club runs are based in Victoria but there are a few in Sydney and the southern highlands. There is a historic race meeting at Eastern Creek on May 3rd and 4th which may attract a couple; I know George Hertel brought his T35 a couple of years ago, and then there is the CMC/Shannons car show at the same venue in August which has attracted a few in the past. Otherwise, have a look at the Bugatti Club website to see what events they have coming up.
