As we have seen in the past two VeloceToday features, Fred Wacker drove a Grand Prix Gordini during the 1953 and 1954 seasons. This week, we take a closer look at the five Grand Prix Gordinis which shed the Simca badge with a new chassis, and Gordini six cylinder engine. Designated the T16, they were the epitome of the Gordini racers. How many were built? How did they perform? What kind of engine and suspension were used? What happened to them?
