That\u2019s the one that John Dunham and a motorcyclist friend found in Tijuana, Mexico. And now, thanks to this fortuitous event, the car will be saved. Then he decided to get going on the project and he interviewed a number of restoration shops, finally settling on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tinelement.com\/www.tinelement.com\/Welcome.html\" target=\"_blank\">Tin Element <\/a>  in Loveland, Colorado. Here you will find the same bunch of dedicated craftsmen who built the replica Porsche Abarth that knocked people out at the Porsche West Coast Holiday with its outstanding aluminum work.<\/p>\n<p><div id=\"attachment_80901\" style=\"width: 580px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"https:\/\/velocetoday.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/pic-2-1.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-80901\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-80901\" src=\"https:\/\/velocetoday.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/pic-2-1.jpg\" alt=\"Should have saved the Renault as well.\" width=\"570\" height=\"367\" class=\"size-full wp-image-80901\" srcset=\"https:\/\/velocetoday.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/pic-2-1.jpg 570w, https:\/\/velocetoday.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/pic-2-1-300x193.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 570px) 100vw, 570px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-80901\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><em>Should have saved the Renault as well<\/em>.<\/p><\/div><\/p>\n<p>And so the car, with a bunch of reference material went up to the shop and they have been steadily working on it ever since. <\/p>\n<p>Completion is nearing and Dunham is still looking for an original 8V engine to power the car. Even parts of one would do.
